The 2019 vintage in Marlborough is promising to be one of the finest ever. Warm, dry conditions and atypically warm nights induced early flowering and ripening and resulted in smaller berry size. Smaller berries mean more concentrated flavour development. Expect strawberry, melon and cherry tones, with lively acidity. This will be great with grilled seafood, summer salads, or chicken-and-veggie skewers.
